With a better team on the pitch, it didn’t take long before the visitors were able to get a comeback. At the 38th minute, Nkuku received a beautiful pass from Konrad Laimer and scored the second goal of Leipzig.
Fc Koln came back after the half time trying to draw the match again. However, in a fast play, the away team found another goal. At the 50th minute, goalkeeper Gulacsi found Werner free and the top scorer didn’t disappoint, putting the ball into the back of the net.
Five minutes later, the hosts found their second goal. Modeste tried from outside the box and finished without chances for Leipzig’s goalkeeper.
However, it didn’t take long until Leipzig had the final say in the match. At the 57th minute, Olmo sent the ball past goalkeeper Timo Horn and scored the 4th goal.
