More than 80 thousand fans were able to witness a historic comeback on the great Wembley Stadium. The match between Watford and Wolverhampton for the semi-finals of the FA Cup was everything a football fan likes. It was exciting, with a lot of goals and full of surprises.

The Wolves opened the scoring with Doherty’s header at the 36th minute and doubled the lead at the 62nd with Jiménez. The Mexican player, who scored a beautiful goal and celebrated with a WWE mask, had everything to be the man of the match. However, Deulofeu thought differently. The Spanish player scored the first goal of Watford at the 79th minute and after that things got better to the Hornets.

At the 94th minute, the referee saw a penalty. Troy Deeney – one of the idols of the team – got the ball and equalized the match. 2-2 and the extra time was coming.

The incredible comeback was completed at the 104th minute. Deulofeu exchanged passes with Gray and put the ball into the bottom-left corner of the goal. 3-2 to Watford and the fans went crazy.

The Wolves even tried to equalize the scoring again and had a good chance at the 118th minute, but were not able to score. The amazing victory of the Hornets makes them have a place on the big final of FA Cup. It is the second time on their history playing this final – the first was in 1984, and they didn’t get the title. This time, the rival will be the powerful Manchester City, of Pep Guardiola. The Blues of Manchester have beaten Brighton, on Saturday, by 1-0.

On the 18th of May, the big final will happen on the legendary Wembley once more. And then we will know if the favorites are going to get the trophy or if Watford is going to surprise once more.
