Former Argentine player, Javier Saviola warned and advised Internazionale’s Lautaro Martinez, who is being speculated to complete a move to Barcelona to the next transfer window.
Lautaro’s countryman said it’s not easy to play alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. At the same time, however, the former player said Lautaro could be a useful player for Barca.
“It is complicated because it is difficult to keep up with the pace of these stars, as it requires another type of concentration,” said Saviola.
In the interview, Saviola also recalled another Argentine player: Paulo Dybala.
According to Juventus’ number 10, playing with Leo Messi in the Argentine National Team was very difficult. In another interview with an Argentine sports channel, Pa Tyc Sports, Dybala says that he has Barca’s shirt 10 as an idol, and that the relationship between them has grown and that they even shared afternoons drinking Argentinean’s typical drink, Mate, and playing cards.
“It is not easy to get used to the rhythm of a player like him. In a dream, it is easy, but in reality, it is not so ”, declared Dybala.
Lautaro Martinez, 22, moved to Internazionale from Argentina’s Racing Club back in 2018, as one of the main promises of Argentine football. With the Nerazzurri so far, the Argentine striker scored 25 goals in 66 games.
Today, he is the main player in the club alongside Belgian center-forward, Romelu Lukaku.
Lautaro is being heavily linked with Barcelona in a deal that could exceed 100 million euros. It would be awesome to watch him playing alongside Messi, and maybe even becoming his substitute at Barcelona.
However, both Saviola and Dybala had the words, and Martinez must prepare himself mentally, as it’s not going to be an easy task to play two or three years alongside the best player in the world.
