This Sunday, Osasuna faced Real Madrid at the Reyno de Navarra Stadium for matchday 23 of La Liga. The home side scored the first goal of the match with Unai Garcia but ended up losing by 4-1. Isco, Sergio Ramos, Lucas Vasquez, and Luka Jovic scored the goals that gave the victory to the team from the capital.
The match started with a surprise for the Merengue fans when they saw Gareth Bale as a starter. And another surprise came when Osasuna started the match showing a big desire to win.

Already at the injury time, Jovic scored the fourth goal of Madrid to give the final number for the match. 1-4 for the Merengues.
With the victory, Real Madrid keeps on the first position, 3 points ahead of Barcelona. Osasuna, on the other hand, dropped to 12th place, with 28 points. Both teams come back to the pitch on matchday 24, where Madrid will welcome Celta de Vigo on Sunday and Osasuna will travel to face Athletic Bilbao on the same day.
