About 500 ultras fans of Paris Saint-Germain got the authorization to watch the first training of the team after the elimination on the Champions League. According to people that were at the location, many fans started booing the players and, according to a photographer of AFP, there were insults and bombs explosions inside of the Parc des Princes during the activity.
According to the newspaper “AS”, the captains Thiago Silva and Marquinhos were the ones chosen to make contact with the fans and try to calm them down. According to “Le Parisien”, there was no success on the attempt and the apologies were covered by screams and insults.
Their main target was Rabiot, the midfielder that is currently of the team because of uncertainty on his contract, because he has been seen in a nightclub after the painful disqualification. Cavani, injured, entered only on the final minutes of the loss, was cheered and received a different treatment from the ultras. Neymar was not there, again, because of his fracture.
Because they are club member, this group of fans was able to be on the training, that was closed to the press and to the public in general. For matters of security, the activity was even transferred from the Training Center, Camp des Loges, to the club’s stadium.
On Wednesday, PSG was not able to get the qualification to the next round of the Champions League, after losing by 3-1 to Manchester United at home, on the second leg match, even after they had got a victory on the first leg by 2-0. The protests started on Friday, but this was the first activity of the team after the big loss, once they did not play this weekend. Let’s see what will happen on Tuesday, when they will finally play again, against a weak Dijon, for Ligue 1.
