Paris Saint-Germain had a Saturday with strong emotions. Without their main players, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, the team from the capital suffered to draw 4-4 with Amiens, the penultimate placed in the French Ligue 1. PSG saw themselves 3-0 down, could turn it around, but conceded the equalizer in a crazy match at Amiens.

The two main stars of PSG were preserved by German coach Thomas Tuchel for the match against Borussia Dortmund, on Tuesday, in Dortmund, for the 1st leg match of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. And PSG missed them both so much.

The first half was a nightmare for PSG. After four minutes, Guirassy received a pass from Kakuta and classy slotted under goalkeeper Navas to open the scoring. At 28, a beautiful move from Amiens’ attack ended with a strong finish from Kakuta, with no chance for Navas. And there was more: Diabate received from Kakuta and scored in a powerful finish at the far post to make it 3-0 Amiens.

It just didn’t get any worse to the leaders, thanks to Herrera, as he pulled a goal back for the Parisians moments before the break.

PSG leveled the match in the second half with two similar moves, on 60, and 65 minutes. Two corners into the Amiens area and substitute Kouassi headed home in both times to level things up for the visitors.

Mauro Icardi completed the comeback for the Parisians as the Argentine received an accurate delivery from Bernat and tapped in.

It looked like PSG would win their fifth consecutive French Championship game, but on 90 minutes the Parisian defense lacked attention and Amiens’ Guirassy saw himself face to face against Navas. He did not waste the chance and grabbed the draw for Amiens in the crazy match between leaders and penultimate placed.
