Saudi prince Mohamed bin Salman still depends on the Premier League decision to really buy Newcastle. However, they already have targets for the next transfer window.
This time, the interest of the English club is in two midfielders from Juventus, Adrien Rabiot, and Aaron Ramsey. According to the Italian newspaper ‘Calciomercato’, the French player is the Magpies’ priority target for the sector. The fact that Rabiot is probably not in the plans of the Old Lady may contribute to a possible permanent trip to the UK.
Rabiot’s interest in playing in the Premier League is not really new, as the Frenchman has already said that he would love to play for Liverpool.
However, the publication also states that Rabiot’s departure for the English team would not depend on the sale to the Arab Royal Family, which is practically sealed, with only the Premier League endorsement.
Newcastle would be willing to pay 26 million pounds for the economic rights of the French player. However, the Magpies will have to fight with two other English rivals: Everton and Manchester United.
In the current season, Rabiot played a total of 24 matches with Juventus.
According to ‘TransferMarketWeb’ in addition to Rabiot, Newcastle has an interest in Aaron Ramsey. “BBC,” says that the midfielder gets a high salary, so Juventus would think about selling the athlete in order to have an economic relief.
Still, competition for the player tends to be strong, as Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea have an interest in the Welsh midfielder. The Red Devils, however, have Frenchman Paul Pogba as the perfect bargain chip for Juventus.
In the end, it doesn’t matter which one Newcastle is interested in having on their squad, they will have competition. If they get the money from the Arab Royal Family, which will probably happen, they will have a big chance of getting the players. Rabiot seems closer to a possible negotiation than Ramsey, but I don’t think it is impossible. It would be nice seeing two interesting players on the Magpies.
