Aiming the next season, Paris Saint-Germain is already planning their next steps. According to the newspaper “Le10Sport”, manager Massimiliano Allegri is said to be a probable replacement for Thomas Tuchel, who is currently in charge of the Parisians.
When he arrived in Paris, Tuchel’s command was not very welcomed. The manager did not have the sympathy of the players and has been exposed several times for problems with the main stars of the team.
In addition to that, the staff from the club does not have confidence in him. Even though he won the National Championship and also a French Supercup, he failed to achieve their main goal, which is the UEFA Champions League.
Because of that, they started searching for a new name to command the players.
At first, Massimiliano Allegri only managed teams from Italy. Thus, he was the last to win the Serie A for AC Milan. Soon, his main moment was the fourth Italian Serie A title with Juventus.
Now, he may go to France and start a new step on his career managing Paris Saint-Germain.
Of course, his main goal has to be the Champions League. Not only the fans but also the owners of the club can’t handle another year of big investments and to see just the National Competitions on their shelf. We all know that PSG is the biggest in France at the moment, so winning another Ligue 1 is not important.
Allegri has already responded positively to the interest of the PSG board. With that, the announcement should occur after Tuchel’s departure. It is probable that it also occurs only after the return of activities that are stopped due to the pandemic, which will probably be only in September.
It will be good for PSG to have a new manager. Maybe they can finally fulfill their dream and get at least to the UCL final.
