Manchester City hosted and beat Fulham 4-0 in the Round of 32 of the English FA Cup. The citizens did not have great difficulties in the match as the opponent went down to 10-man early in the match, a fact that surely boosted Pep Guardiola’s side performance even more.

The game did not start well for visitors Fulham, who saw Tim Ream receive a straight red card with six minutes on the clock for bad fouling Gabriel Jesus inside the box.
The referee awarded the hosts the penalty, as the visitors had Ream sent off. Gundogan was the taker and broke the deadlock at the Etihad Stadium. 1-0 Man City.
Reduced to 10-man, it wasn’t long before the team led by Guardiola increased the advantage to 2-0 after Phil Foden’s assist for a brilliant shot from Bernardo Silva.
At the start of the second half, the Manchester team’s dominance increased. In the 72nd minute, Joao Cancelo crossed for Gabriel Jesus who headed the ball towards the bottom of Marek Rodak’s net and increased the result to 3-0.
With City clearly on top and maintaining pressure on the visiting team, moments after the third goal, Fulham made a mistake after a bad backward pass from Michael Hector as the Brazilian striker took the opportunity to make it four and seal Man City’s qualification to the next phase of the FA Cup.
