It is known that Bayern Munich has agreed on terms to sign Manchester City’s Leroy Sane. Thus, French striker and Bayern Munich player Kingsley Coman spoke out about Sane’s Bayern future.
Coman stated that Sane had “nothing to do” with his Bayern Munich future since they will be fighting for the very same position, and even compared themselves.
The Bavarian striker showed no concern about rumors of Sane’s arrival to Bayern. Therefore, in an interview with the Republic World portal, the 24-year-old Frenchman maintains confidence in his own skills.
In the meantime, the French winger claims “to have no problem” with the arrival of the Germany international striker in Bavaria, and also spoke about how it looked like for him when he had first arrived in Munich.
“When I arrived at Bayern Munich, we had Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Douglas Costa and me, and I was still a young player, competing with the legends Ribery and Robben! You can see that this is not a problem for me. I believe that the best for the team is when there are several players in the squad of the highest level ”
I honestly think that Coman and Sane are comparable but with the German being the most decisive one. If you go back to decisive Manchester City games, Leroy Sane always scores or plays a major role in case the Pep Guardiola team advances.
However, I don’t see the same decision power from Coman, who’s clearly got the skills, but needs to be more incisive in order to fight for his winger position in Bayern Munich under Hansi-Flick.
Sane arrived in Manchester in the 2016-17 season and scored 39 goals and 45 assists in 134 games so far. Coman has been playing with the Bayern Munich jersey since 2015 and scored 31 goals plus 34 assists in 136 matches.
