It’s clear for everyone out there to see that the European ban imposed by UEFA could do terrible damage to Manchester City’s plans on winning the European Cup. Two years that could literally make everyone steps down, including the Arabs who bought the Blues from Manchester.
Just to clarify, that’s a mere personal supposition, this could happen, but I acknowledge it’s unlikely. It’s still possible, though.
However, the problem here is about one of Manchester City’s most important players. We’re talking about Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, as he has openly spoken about this European ban imposed on Pep Guardiola’s men, and that could literally make the Belgian leave the Cityzens.
In recent interviews, the player even said that he would love to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and that it would be hard to guarantee his stay in England if the Citizens were punished and removed from the next Champions League editions.
Kevin de Bruyne’s words about a possible exit from Manchester City under the sanction of UEFA have stirred up Juventus. And so, the Italian club has the desire to count on the Belgian in the near future.
Before the pandemic outbreak, De Bruyne was valued at something around 90 million euros, so, in case his value doesn’t get affected by the whole situation and financial crisis the whole world is set to experience, Juventus would have to make a big financial operation to get the Belgian.
De Bruyne had this to say on his current situation at Man City:
“Two years without European football would be very long. The club has told us that they will appeal and that it is almost one hundred percent certain that it is right. So, I’m waiting to see what’s going to happen ”.
These words by Kevin de Bruyne serve as a starting point for numerous rumors, among them the interest of several clubs. Besides that, Juventus needs to land a heavy signing to make seduce Ronaldo to continue at the Old Lady, as the Portuguese star is reportedly considering a move in the next year.
De Bruyne would be a great signing, and maybe he could team up with Ronaldo to carry Juve to the long-awaited Champions League title.
