Apparently Arthur to Juventus is really happening! Italian giants Juventus are willing to bid higher for Brazilian defensive midfielder Arthur. The Old Lady’s intention is to count on the Barcelona player for the next season, and apparently Barcelona has already accepted a Juventus offer.
The only problem is that the two parts must convince Arthur that it’s going to be a good deal for him to join Juventus next season. The Brazil international had recently stated that he’d like to wear the Barcelona shirt for the rest of his career.
I guess Barca is already trying to get rid of the “poor” guy…
The report comes from Sky Sports, as they released information about a new onslaught of the Italian club by the Brazilian. Thus, the newspaper claims that Juventus have thrown an “irrecusable” bid for the Brazilian, whose Barcelona contract goes until 2024.
Still, according to Sky, Arthur’s yearly wages would be something around 5 million euros. Thus, Juventus relies on these values to bring the player to Piemonte.
In the past few weeks, Arthur himself has expressed his will in staying in Catalunya. In this sense, the player came to the public expressing his disinterest in changing teams, with many goals still to be fulfilled at the Catalan club.
In short, Arthur arrived in Barcelona from Brazilian side Gremio back in 2018, in a 31-million-euro-deal. Nowadays, he’s not an absolute starter, and he’s had already a beef-like with Barcelona’s king, Lionel Messi when both played against each other in a Brazil v Argentina match.
Given this scenario, I think that it would be a good deal for Arthur to go to Juventus. However, at the same time, I don’t think Juventus really need him, and depending on Barcelona’s next manager, I would also like to stay to see what would happen.
It’s up to Arthur alone to decide that, though.
