Juventus remain active in the transfer market, with speculation of coming and going. It seems that the Italian club is focusing on the defensive positions and that are two names that they are interested in.
First, the Bianconeri look at the situation of the goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who currently plays for Bayern Munich. The German keeper is having some problems with signing a new contract with the Bavarians and may be available for a transfer.
The second name that interests the Old Lady is Raphael Guerreiro, who is also playing in Germany. The Portuguese player is one of the highlights of Borussia Dortmund during the last season and is seen as a possibility to replace Alex Sandro in Juve.
According to the Italian website CalcioMercato, a reference when it comes to the transfer market, the Italians do not consider the goalkeeper position as a priority. However, with Manuel Neuer’s uncertainty to continue playing for the German club, if there is a market opportunity, the Bianconeri are willing to do business.
However, they probably won’t be alone on the fight for the keeper. Chelsea is also eyeing the German star since the Blues don’t prioritize the stay of Spaniard Kepa Arrizabalaga at the club.
Neuer had a pretty good season until the stoppage of football, with 37 matches played and 15 of them without conceding a goal.
The left-back, however, is seen as a priority in this transfer window, due to the possible departure from Alex Sandro. To this position, also according to CalcioMercato, the Old Lady’s main interest is Raphael Guerreiro. In addition to him, Emerson Palmieri, who is currently playing for Chelsea, is also speculated in the Italian club.
Until the stoppage, Guerreiro had played 29 matches, in which he scored five goals and also gave five assists, is one of the main players of Dortmund.
