We all know that Real Madrid’s season is far, far away from what we know they can do, and Isco is not very different. As the Royal team, the Spanish midfielder is not being able to play his best and it is no wonder that the speculations about a possible transfer are becoming more and more common on the news.
This Wednesday (12th of December), during the humiliating defeat suffered by “Los Blacos” at the Santiago Bernabeu by 3-0 for CSKA Moscow, for the last match of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, the midfielder received critics from the public and was booed. He was completely angry with the crowd and the whole situation, and, after the match, things got worse for him when Marcelo stated that Isco refused the captain’s armband during the match.
The Brazilian player apparently was going to give the armband for the Spanish, when he was leaving the pitch, but Isco refused, and Marcelo ended up giving it to Dani Carvajal.
“I tried to give the armband to Isco, but he told me that I should give it to Carvajal. The reason I do not know”, the Brazilian told the reporters in the mixed zone after the match.
It is important to remember that in the previous Champions League match, which was against Roma, Marcelo said that Isco “needed to work harder”. Probably the Spanish didn’t like that statement.
Unsatisfied and having only few minutes on the field this season, Isco can be negotiated with other clubs by Real Madrid. According to the European press, Manchester City is the main club interested in the midfielder. And honestly, for him, it could be the best thing to do. If he is not comfortable and happy at Madrid, leaving is the best option at the moment.
