Internazionale is taking advantage of the season stoppage to search for possible names that could add up to their squad next season. Now, their main goal is to find a midfielder and Bayern Munich’s Corentin Tolisso is on their radar.
The Frenchman is clearly not at his best moment in Germany. He played 24 matches, in which on 13 of them he was a starter, scoring 3 goals and giving 5 assists. Because of that, the German club is already considering transferring him to another club.
With that said, an arrival in Italy for the next season is possible for Tolisso.
The interest from the Nerazzurri is not new as there were interests from Inter on Tolisson since back on the Frenchman’s Lyon days. However, the Bavarian club was faster and bought the midfielder for something around 41 million euros in 2017.
Since his arrival in Germany, Tolisso’s game style changed, and, also because of the injuries he suffered, he is not as regular as he was. That’s why he is not a starter under the command of manager Hans Flick.
For Tolisso, going to Inter Milan could be very good. There, he would have to fight for a position with names as Eriksen and Brozovic. But honestly, I don’t see manager Antonio Conte happy with his current players in that area, which could be good for the Frenchman.
If he could show all he is able to, he may not only become a starter but also a very important piece in Inter Milan’s team.
In the end, it could be a win-win situation. Bayern Munich will probably not use the player and it doesn’t make sense keeping him on the squad. Inter need a young midfielder who is talented. And Tolisso needs to show the world that his time in Germany was just a bad phase and that, actually, he is a very good player.
