This Saturday, playing at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City was surprised by Crystal Palace and only drew 2-2 against the London team.
Cenk Tosun opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, as Man City grabbed the comeback through Argentine Sergio Aguero, who scored two late goals. However, Brazilian Fernandinho ended up scoring an own goal in the 90th minute, making the Cityzens drop two points in the English Premier League.

Man City is the second-placed in the Premier League, but their distance to Liverpool could reach 16 points this Sunday. The Leaders of the competition, who has not been a national champion since 1990, has 61 points out of 63 possible, with an incredible campaign of 20 wins and a draw in 21 matches. Crystal Palace is ninth, with 30 points.
As always in Man City games, Pep Guardiola’s team attacked the opponent from minute one, dominating the game with a lot of ball possession and a lot of finishes. The visitors, however, defended themselves tenaciously and managed to counter the powerful attack of the hosts in the first half.
This way, the visitors still took the lead at the first opportunity that came up. At 38 minutes, following a corner kick, Gary Cahill flicked and Turkish Tosun scored with a header. 0-1 Palace.
Man City’s pressure was even bigger in the second half, but the ball simply seemed like it didn’t want to hit the back of the net.
On 70 minutes, Man City had a penalty awarded, but it was overturned by the VAR, frustrating everyone, mainly Man City’s coach Pep Guardiola.
On 82 minutes though, the man for the big occasion for the Blues stepped up. Sergio Aguero. The Argentine striker equalized it from a Gabriel Jesus cross.
Five minutes later, the Argentine showed up again to score and – apparently – handle the three points for Man City.
However, on 90 minutes, Palace’s Wilfried Zaha made a beautiful move down the left and his cross met Fernandinho’s leg, as the ball ended up inside the net in an extremely unfortunate move from the Brazilian. 2-2 and more points dropped from Manchester City in the Premier League.
