This Thursday, some fans in England can finally say, after long 30 years of waiting up, that they conquered all of England once again. After the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace, all the Reds had to hope for was that Manchester City didn’t win against Chelsea, in London. Even a draw would end up crowning the Reds as Champions.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea went on and beat Man City 2-1 and handled the Premier League to Liverpool.

Yeah, the same Chelsea, who ended the Reds’ hopes back in 2014. On that day, all Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool had to do was to beat Chelsea at a packed Anfield in Premier League’s Matchday 35 to be crowned Champions of England.

That Liverpool side had Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling, Luis Suarez, and Steven Gerrard. Oh, Stevie, why destiny was so cruel with you. Why it had to be you who slipped in a one on one against Chelsea’s Demba Ba, who slotted a late first-half goal past Simon Mignolet and frustrated the Reds’ hopes of being Champions.

There were ups and downs in these 30 years. Some fans who would literally give everything they had just to see this moment, sadly are not between us anymore to celebrate it.

Between slips and deceptions. Among “next year is our year” and losing the Premier League by one point, even having lost only a single game out of 38, the Reds believed the Jurgen Klopp process.

The German manager, who said in one of his first interviews as Liverpool manager that Liverpool fans had to change from doubters to believers. He also said that in 4 years, he would win at least one major title for the Reds.

The German man promised. And definitely delivered.

Breathtaking, historical matches. Liverpool 4-3 Dortmund, Liverpool 4-0 Barcelona, Liverpool 5-2 Roma, the 5-4 away at Norwich… Brought Liverpool here. To their deserved place. Their rightful perch.

Trust the Jurgen process. This is just the beginning. Go enjoy yourself with your friends and family, life is too short to live in fear. Allow yourself to celebrate this moment, despite all the controversy situation we’ve been living in these uncertain last three months.

This Liverpool title can be compared to Leicester’s 2015/16 fairytale. The Reds don’t win the league since 1990. They’ve won it 18 times, but no Premier League at all. Now, it has changed. It came back home, lads.

From Sir. King Kenny Dalglish to Jurgen Klopp. What a beautiful story. 7 Premier League Matchdays to go. A lot to fight for the other sides. Not for this Liverpool, though.

Imagine you make such an impeccable campaign, and then a world pandemic strikes and you see yourself one or two games away of the title, and then a lot of rival fans saying that the season should be simply “null and voided”. Just like it never existed.

Then imagine year-in-year-out everyone who doesn’t support your team mocking you with something related to a “slip”, or Liverpool bottled it again, or something like that.

You can dislike Liverpool or Jurgen Klopp, but this team is too big to stay 30 years with no league title. They’ve won two UEFA Champions League in this period. But no Premier Leagues. It was a true curse.

Now the Reds can take this weight off their shoulders and celebrate. So far, with all the safety measures, but I’m sure that as soon as these dark times are gone, Liverpool City will throw a hell of a party for the Champions.

Congratulations, Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Andrew Robertson, Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Adrian, Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Dejan Lovren, Harvey Eliott, Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino, Naby Keita, Divock Origi, and Jurgen Klopp for this historic achievement!

Congrats, Liverpool, for your deserved 19th League Title, for your 1st Premier League! This is the start of a domination era!
