Lately, a lot has been said about Newcastle and their new financial support. The English club has a large investment from a fund coming from Saudi Arabia.
So, after several names considered to start what they call the Newcastle Revolution, Nabil Fekir appears on the radar. The player can reach England in the next transfer window.
Midfielder Nabil Fekir, who was already world champion with France, is currently playing for Real Betis, from Spain. Thus, for Newcastle to close with the player, the negotiation would be around 20 million euros.
As Betis want to settle a negotiation with Dani Ceballos, who is almost at the end of his contract with Real Madrid, they may be “forced” to sell Fekir. According to the newspaper ‘ABC’, however, the Verdiblancos do not want to sell him. In addition to that, the player is currently happy in the Spanish team, which could prevent him from leaving.
To the newspaper ‘Cope Sevilla’, Betis president Angel Haro denied that there were any negotiations with Newcastle. In addition, the Verdiblanco representative said that Fekir will not go anywhere in the summer transfer window, which happens in June and July.
“Fekir is very satisfied with his stay in Seville, happy with the team, and wants to continue. Our idea is to keep him on the team. He is a high-quality player and from that, we will see. We have no plans to sell that player”, said Haro.
According to the newspaper ‘As’, it is believed that the Saudi fund will invest a lot of money in Newcastle. And with that, other names also appear on the English club’s radar.
Among them, there is the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho, who really didn’t play well since he left Liverpool, the Uruguayan Edinson Cavani, who is currently playing for PSG, and the Frenchman Kalidou Koulibaly.
