Napoli lost its second match after the resumption of Serie A, as a visitor in a match where there were up to three penalties, two from the Parmesan team and one from the Neapolitan. The victory certifies salvation for D’Aversa’s team, while those led by Gattuso, already without objectives, returned to give negative signs at the offensive level, as happened with Bologna and Udinese.

The Naples team had to start with Hirving Lozano as the center forward, without Milik (suspended) or Mertens (touched and on the bench) and with Llorente already out of the list due to an injury. The locals also made rotations, leaving Gervinho and Kulusevski out of the starting lineup. The heat was the main protagonist of the first half, in which the teams had a hard time raising the pace of the game.

Insigne had the first opportunity of the match and wasted it in the area shooting against Sepe, while those of Parma brushed the 1-0 thanks to an absurd pass back to Allan, which Karamoh did not take advantage of, losing hand to hand with Meret, however, it managed to go into the break with an advantage thanks to a very doubtful penalty due to a slight contact between Mario Rui and Grassi, scored by Caprari.

The tie came as soon as the second half began, with another penalty, number 169 of this championship. In this case, it came from a shot by Fabián that hit Grassi in the arm, a situation that, with the new interpretation of the regulation, practically causes a penalty like in autopilot. Insigne threw it and this time he beat his friend Sepe. In the final stretch of the match, the duels between Kulusevski, who played the last half hour, and Koulibaly gave emotion. In one of those, the Swede fell into the area forcing another penalty, which will also cause much controversy. He launched it himself, signing both, the goal and the victory.

Those of Gattuso looked for the tie until the final whistle was given. With this defeat, Naples was seventh in the standings while Parma is tenth.
