Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that the club’s star Marcus Rashford recovered from his injury. The player had an invoice for stress in the back during the 1-0 victory against Wolverhampton, for the FA Cup.
In this way, the Englishman is already training normally and he’s available to face Tottenham in the Premier League next Friday. In addition to him, Frenchman Paul Pogba, who had also been injured, returned to training normally.
Marcus Rashford is a key player at United. Therefore, before his injury, the 22-year-old Englishman had scored 14 goals and has given five assists in the current Premier League season.
Besides Rashford, Solskjaer had also other important players who have been missing games due to injuries, including McTominay, Pogba, and Anthony Martial. From Man United fans’ point of view, Rashford is by far the most important player in this injury-list.
Rashford was set to miss the rest of the season due to his back injury, but due to the forced pause caused by the pandemic, the young player had enough time to recover and he will be available to help Solskjaer and United ou throughout England in the Premier League, and also in Europe in the UEFA Europa League, if UEFA chooses to keep going with it.
Manchester United is about to return in full force to fight for top positions in the Premier League table. Apparently, Solskjaer will have the whole team in good condition for the return of Football in England.
The Covid-19 pause was maybe good for Man United, mainly due to the fact that they will have Rashford and Pogba back. This duo could really make a difference, as Man United have been struggling to get into the Premier League top-four before the forced break.
