With the win, the Reds maintain the 100% success in the English Premier League. The visitors’ goals were scored by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino. Ngolo Kante discounted for the Blues.
Liverpool opened the scoring in the first match of the match, on 14 minutes, in a free-kick at the edge of the area that Mohamed Salah rolled for Alexander Arnold to slot home past Kepa Arrizabalaga. What a finish from the English right-back! 0-1 Liverpool. 1-0 down, Chelsea began to attack with more danger and even found the net through Azpilicueta, but the goal was ruled out by offside in the origin of the play.

When everything was heading for an easy win for Liverpool, Chelsea managed to reduce the gap with 71 on the clock. Kante got the ball down the middle, rounded Fabinho, got into the edge of the area and slotted a superb strike into Adrian’s top corner. 1-2, as the Stamford Bridge erupted.
Despite creating good chances to equalize and drowning out counterattacks, Franck Lampard’s team failed to avoid the sixth consecutive victory of the Reds.
Following the good 2-1 away win over the Blues, the Reds retains the lead of five points clear on top of the Premier League, while Chelsea has eight points and fall down to 11th position.
