Lots of people still miss the good old days where they could appreciate Andrea Pirlo giving his famous forty-yard passes, or yet the perfect free-kicks at the top corner he used to take. Well, we have two news for you. These good old times won’t go back, unfortunately.
However, the other one is that the Italian legend is apparently on his way back to the Football world.
That’s because he would have been offered a coach-role at Juventus’ U23.
According to ‘Sky Sports’, Andrea Pirlo has already agreed on terms with Juventus and will command the under-23 team. Thus, the new coach will have the mission of taking the Old Lady’s B team and conduct them to the Italian Serie B in the upcoming seasons.
To lead the under team, Pirlo would have already chosen his assistant. This is Roberto Baronio, a former Italian player who is one of the former shirt 21’s best friends in his days as an athlete. As a result, both already have UEFA license A for coaches. Therefore, despite being at the beginning of his career as a coach, he could theoretically lead the Juventus main team.
That’s surely wonderful news coming from Turin, and we can already foresee Pirlo commanding Juventus’ main team in the near future. I personally think that Pirlo had his career prime at AC Milan, but he retired from European Football at Juventus.
Although I still feel that AC Milan needs Pirlo much more than Juve does, it will be a nicer experience for him, as Juventus look much more organized than the Rossoneri, and it can be a huge boost for his self-confidence as a professional football manager in the long-run.
