Jadon Sancho is one of the young players that attract attention and there was a little fear coming from his team, Dortmund, that they could miss the English youth for the next season. Following good seasons in a row for Sancho, both Chelsea and Man United are monitoring the situation of the 20-year-old, and are likely to go for a move to bring the youngster back to England.
However, the impacts of the Covid-19 in European Football could make the British to stay in Germany for another season, at least.
Some sources claim that the Yellow & Black side would sell the young player if any club would be willing to pay at least 130 million euros. If not, he would remain in the club, once his contract goes until June 2022.
Both English clubs were ready to make an offer for the striker, but that was before the paralyzation of football around the world. Now, both clubs have the same problem to get the amount of money that the German club asks: the financial side.
According to the German newspaper “Bild”, the Blues and the Red Devils need the money from the televisions to make a good offer to Borussia Dortmund. However, they will only receive this money when – and if – the Premier League returns.
With all that, it will be very difficult to take Sancho away from Germany. That is good news to Dortmund fans, once the British striker is an important part of their attacking system. This season, Sancho played 23 of the 25 matches in the Bundesliga and scored 14 goals. Currently, he is the top scorer of the German club. Apart from that, he counts on 15 assists in the German Bundesliga.
In all the competitions in which Dortmund played this season, until now, Sancho has a total of 17 goals scored and 19 assists given, in 35 matches among the National Championship, UEFA Champions League and DFB Cup in Germany.
