Red Bull has become one of the great powers in the world of football as they decided to make sport one of their biggest investments. So, the company bought teams in Brazil, Austria, Germany, and also in the United States and became strong in most of its projects.
As a result, Oliver Kragl, who currently works for Benevento, in Italy, but already worked at RB Salzburg, trusts in both the financial strength and the project of the brand.
Oliver Kragl is a 29-year-old midfielder who spent three seasons at RB Salzburg and decided to have new adventures in Italy. However, the player remembers well his old days at RB Salzburg and reinforces their economic power.
It is worth remembering that in the projects of Red Bull teams, the strong point is their bet on young talented players. They want to create new talents and, in the end, get good sales for those athletes.
Good examples of it are Liverpool’s Sadio Mane and, more recently, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland. However, according to Kragl, RB Salzburg has the money to take the greatest players in world football. That is if they wanted to do that, obviously.
It is true that in Austria, the championship is not that difficult. And honestly, no other club there has enough power to threaten RB Salzburg’s dominance in the country. However, according to Kragl, the Austrian club could be one of the biggest in Germany if they had the chance to play there.
The 29-year-old midfielder even said that, if Red Bul wanted, they would be able to buy even the great Cristiano Ronaldo.
I don’t really doubt that. The fact that I doubt, however, is that CR7 would never want to go to Salzburg.
But it would be nice seeing Salzburg showing their strength outside Austria. They don’t need to buy CR7, but some good names would be good for the team to fight also in the European Championships.
