The former Real Betis manager was officially introduced in Barcelona on Tuesday. The coach has already commanded the first training session of the team and made it clear in a press conference that he intends to rescue the football that made the club famous worldwide.

Setien also set his goal at Barca and reported the way to achieve it.

The new coach of Barcelona signed a contract with the club until the end of June 2022. Before the official presentation, the coach commanded his first training session with the main team. Quique Setien has in the Catalan team his biggest career challenge so far.

Setien’s presentation seemed like Julen Lopetegui at Real Madrid. They both demonstrated to be emotionally affected. Lopetegui couldn’t thrive at Real Madrid though. Will Setien be able to last longer than six months commanding Barcelona?

He will face a lot of adversities, but I think that above all, he needs to build a good relationship with Argentine Lionel Messi as soon as possible.
