However, there were more goals coming. Freiburg just needed two minutes to score twice and be ahead on the scorer again. At the 67th minute, Peterson put the ball into the bottom corner, past goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. 2 minutes later, Holer scored the third for the visitors.
Losing at home, Frankfurt had to do something. At the 79th minute, Kamada took advantage of a mistake from the rival’s defense and hit past goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow to make the 2-3.
Then, at the 82nd minute, Chandler received a perfect cross from Filip Kostic and put the ball into the back of the net to let all equal again.
With the draw, Frankfurt is now with 29 points, in the 14th position. Freiburg, on the other hand, has 38 points and is in 7th place, just 4 points behind a place on the next Europa League.
