Already looking for restructuring their squad for next season, AC Milan is interested in signing Brescia’s youngster Sandro Tonali. The midfielder has been standing out since the Brescia campaign in the Italian Serie B.
Tonali’s style of play is similar to that of Italian legend Andrea Pirlo, and that’s one of the reasons he was nicknamed as the “New Pirlo”. In addition to AC Milan, Tonali’s being monitored by other European giants, who see the 19-year-old as a true jewel who can become a legend if well-lapidated.
Some of the European giants mentioned before are Manchester United and Juventus. However, it’s believed that Tonali would be a vital piece for AC Milan in the very near future.
Brescia is currently the rock-bottoms in the Italian Serie A table, but that doesn’t mean that they will let a potential generational player leave at a normal cost. It’s said that they will play a tough game in the negotiations.
According to Italy’s Tuttospot, Brescia must ask for around 30 million euros for Sandro Tonali, but since the market is inflated, and with the inevitable financial recession the whole world will live in, this value may raise a little bit more.
Let’s suppose that Tonali’s final price will be around 50 million euros. That’s nothing compared to the financial power of Man United and Juventus, and as of now, AC Milan would be at a clear disadvantage.
However, a fact that can play a major role in favor of the Rossoneri is that Tonali’s a fan of the club. Also, Brescia would also be given some players in return like defender Matteo Gabbia, Alessandro Plizzari, and Tommaso Pobega.
Watching Tonali’s highlights, it’s evident that the quality is there, and even physically he resembles Pirlo a lot. I think he could be the start of a revolution at AC Milan, and he could be very useful to help the Rossoneri to go back to the top of Italy, and eventually the top of Europe.
