Barcelona is certainly very close to being once again the Champions of “La Liga”. They are also playing the UEFA Champions League and will have an important match next Tuesday. Because of that, the coach Ernesto Valverde decided to rest his key players for this Saturday’s match against Huesca. The result of that was a not so exciting match and a draw with no goals.

Many players that aren’t very familiar to the public and don’t usually play for the main team had a chance. The midfielder had Vidal, Malcom, Aleña, and Puig – a player that many expect a lot. Dembele and Boateng were the forwards of the team. It would be too much saying that nothing at all was made correctly, however it was clear that the team didn’t know how to play together. There were few opportunities of goals, the best one was when Malcom hit the post, already in the second half. Before the end of the match, Coutinho, Jordi Alba, and Arthur came in, things didn’t change that much. Their thoughts were probably on the decisive match against Manchester United.

Even without a victory this Saturday, Barcelona still has a great advantage on the Spanish Championship. The Calatulia team has a total of 74 points, which is 12 more than the second place, Atletico Madrid – who will face Celta de Vigo. Now, the Blaugrana will once against focus on the Champions League. This Tuesday, the match against United will be at the Camp Nou. They have an advantage after winning by 1-0 on England and a draw would mean a ticket for the semifinals of the most important competition on Europe. Huesca remains in the last position with just 25 points, which are 6 less than the first outside the relegation zone. They still have chances to continue on the top league, however, it will probably be very difficult to do so.
