At the Goodison Park, Everton hosted Wolves on Matchday 4 in the Premier League. It was a tough game, but led by Brazilian Richarlison, the Toffees grabbed an important win in front of their supporters. Displaying a mix of good dribbling skills and pace, the Brazilian was the highlight in the 3-2 win over Wolverhampton. The win left Everton with seven points in fifth place in the Premier League table. Richarlison’s show started at five minutes. The striker took advantage of a poor back pass from defender Coady to goalkeeper Rui Patricio and opened the scoring in a good finish at the Goodison Park. 1-0 Everton. However, Everton’s joy did not last long. At nine, Moroccan midfielder Romain Saiss leveled the game for the visitors. 1-1. The busy early stage in the match had yet another goal. Richarlison was once again the playmaker. The Brazilian fed Gilfy Sigurdsson with a classy pass, as the Icelandic crossed it to Alex Iwobi, who found the bottom of the net. 2-1 Everton with just 12 on the clock. After this fast-paced start, the game settled down and only in the second half did the nets swing again. On 74 minutes, Wolverhampton had a good chance on a free-kick. The Mexican striker Raul Jimenez was aware of it and leveled the match. 2-2. After Wolves’ equalizer, the match got exciting once again, as both teams were looking for the goal. The winner came in for the home side, as on 80 minutes, Richarlison doubled his personal tally in the match, making it 3-2 Everton. He also had a good opportunity to complete a hat trick minutes later but was denied by a good stoppage-save from Patricio. In addition to the goals, Richarlison also drew three yellow cards to Wolves players, one of them eventually causing Boly to be sent off at the end of the match. It was a good and balanced match. We can consider that both Everton and Wolves, and maybe even Leicester are the best teams in the League, excluding the Big six. Well deserved for Everton, who counted on an inspired Richarlison to pave the way to more three points for the Ev.
